Graham Radley
– Edinburgh College of Art BA (Hons) Degree D&P 1977-1981
– My painting works are based upon wear and tear, decay, both physically and emotionally.
– Painting ideas spring from time-worn surfaces, landscapes, music or memories.
– A time-taken process of building, then re-building, using layers of colour and textures on a strong compositional background.
– I have shown paintings with the RSW, the SSA, and with several commercial contemporary art galleries in London, Glasgow and Edinburgh, including The Scottish Gallery.
