Nael graduated with a Fine Art degree at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1989, followed by a residency at the prestigious Hospitalfield in Arbroath.
Nael won a scholarship from The Royal Scottish Academy, travelling to Florence in the same year and thereafter becoming a lecturer in the fine art department of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art.
He continued to develop his work and a string of awards and prizes followed, together with successful solo-shows in high profile commercial galleries.
A regular exhibitor at the RSA, RGI, SSA and SAAC, Nael is represented by numerous prestigious art galleries across the UK and internationally.
Nael Hanna is now considered to be an influential and highly successful mid-career artist, known for his expressive, powerful, imaginative painting style across various subjects.
