Michael A Craig

Michael A. Craig was born in Perth and is a contemporary Scottish sculptor currently based in France. He has always found the act of artistic production to be fascinating and views it as a meaningful journey. To this purpose, he has experimented with a wide range of techniques and modes of expression throughout his life. The artist believes that his journey has now come full circle and has returned to the human figure, which served as the vehicle for his initial inspiration.

He has now started to work exclusively digitally producing his work as limited edition 3D prints.
This cutting edge technology allows him to fully explore his sculpture ideas and create exciting artworks that technically would never have been possible before.

Michael A. Craig’s art education comprises of a BA( Hons) degree in Fine Art Sculpture from Duncan of Jordanstone Art school and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the New York Graduate School of Figurative Art New York, USA.

His work in the past has been exhibited in contemporary galleries at home and internationally and can also be found in private and public collections.
