Allan Robson DA
Allan attended Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art from 1966 – 1971, including a post-diploma year.
He then worked as a graphic designer for 17 years, then various work positions, and continuing to paint successfully up to the present day.
” My paintings come from the subconscious. I don’t have any pre-conceived ideas when painting, just making marks and allowing the work to develop a life of its own. ”
His work is heavily influenced by the ideas and concepts of Abstract Expressionism.
